ACME Solar installs Spire Solar 5100SLP Blue for batch testing of PV modules

ACME Solar, with a current capacity of over 1.8 GW of solar generation, is committed to creating credible solutions for the growth of the solar sector in India and thus, expects to be at the forefront of the solar revolution in the country. Hence, as an important player in the Indian solar industry, it makes sense to acquire the required capabilities to perform performance tests on PV modules.

ACME solar chose the 5100SLP Blue because the light of the 5100SLP Blue contains 300nm-400nm and 1100-1200nm, to ensure PERC, IBC and HJT PV modules absorb the maximum possible amount of sunlight. Combined with the single long pulse technology, which goes up to 130ms with the 5100, there are almost no corrections needed when measuring the PV technologies of the future.

For ACME Solar the expansion is an important step in their development. “The 5100SLP Blue delivers accurate and repeatable power measurements, enabling traceability to international gold module standards certified by the world’s leading certification bodies. The 5100SLP Blue, which is the successor of the 4600SLP, received an IEC 60904-9 Class A+A+A+ classification for spectrum, spatial uniformity, and temporal stability. This advanced class, not yet integrated into the current IEC standard, has been defined by TÜV Rheinland as having a performance two times better than the IEC Class AAA for each of the parameters.
